Ocular Professor is a free WordPress theme designed expressly for photographers and photobloggers. Taking advantage of the new gallery functions released with WordPress 2.5, the theme makes photoblogging a piece of cake. While Ocular Professor can be used for text-based blogs as well, it truly shines with images.

Students For a Free Tibet needed a WordPress theme for their video powered site broadcasting live during the week of the Olympics. It had to be done quick, in about four days. It was an exhilarating project with a bunch of really cool people, and set the foundations for a forthcoming publicly released video theme.

Back in the summer of 2004, outside the secured halls of the Republican National Convention, massive protests hit the city of New York. The RNC Mobile Network was a project of mine while working Free Speech TV that utilized the power and ubiquity of mobile devices to document and share information from the ground in real-time. The site aggregated posts from anyone with a phone, while using a mailing list and the services of txtmob for coordination and communication from a number of protest sites.
